My ornament is now complete and framed.
I wasn’t pleased with my alignment of the dots when I worked the lower section, so I removed the Dot stitches, as well as from the holly leaves and replaced both areas with French Knots.
This is my last embroidery for the year as it’s time to sort Christmas gifts and baking.
Thanks to You, my friends for your great support through the year. I appreciate it.
I will begin the new TAST (Take A Stitch Tuesday) Further Challenge on the 2nd January…another little job to sort before then. If interested, you can check out TAST at Sharon Boggon’s Pintangle
I am going to try to do the Beyond TAST. But it will be challenging around here. My 2018 calendar is already filling quickly and daily crisis always derail my plans. Still working to finish the beaded alphabet which was the 2016 project. I will be inspired to keep stitching by following your work.

I wish you the time to do the things you want Diane. I’m also wondering how much I can do for 2018. I’d like to keep up the Year of stitching, Beyond TAST, which I hope to include the journal side of it, and sketching; as well as make more ornaments. Big Ask I think.

Thanks Barbara. Trish Burr’s freebie pattern was too lovely not to try and I’m very happy with it too. There’s link to it in an earlier post.

You have a very beautiful addition to your Christmas ornaments. It is refreshing with the lack of colour. Too often Christmassy things are overwhelmingly full of colour and gold and whatknots.
I am tempted to take part in Beyond TAST, too.
Thank you for all your support during the year.
Have a wonderful Christmas and New Year, my friend.

Thank you Queenie for the lovely compliment. I agree the snowy shades are a soothing change and classy as well. I hope you do join TAST 2018
Thanks too for the Christmas/New Year wishes.

‘Classy’ (as your comment back to Queenie said) is the perfect word to describe this ornament (and the deer as well). ‘Elegant’ is another great word!

Thank you Mary Anne. With such a well designed pattern it’s hard to mess up.

That’s a beautiful, beautiful ornament! I’m so glad you are doing TAST. I’ll be doing some of it again, on my CQJP2018, along with some of Kathy Shaw’s Fancy Seams. It’s going to be fun to see what you do this year, too.

Thank you Susan. Good to hear you’ll be doing some of the TAST stitches this year. I’ve used Kathy Shaw’s seams in the CWJP. There are also free patterns at http://kittyandmedesigns.blogspot.com.au/p/free-printables.html
It is so kind of busy people to share with everyone.
