A sketch a Day – Day 22

Today I sketched a full page of 3d objects and gee whizz, did my blue-tack get a workout.

Such small, easy shapes to make or in my case, mis-shape.  I’ve added reminder notes for the future.

With a bit of DH guidance, again, I picked up a few more tips that improved my work on highlighting an object.  I’m most grateful for any help I can get.

I must remember to make heavier outlines as the camera fades out the work too much.

I had to wait until the apple sketch was finished before I could add it to my lunch.  Nice and sweet it was.

So ends another fun day.

  1. Nice to sketch your lunch and then eat it!

    • Thanks Queenie. I’m planning to work with more real life objects but still need those books.

  2. Lovely grouping of lunch, proving you can have your lunch and eat it, too! I particularly like yur shaping and shading on the onion.

  3. Good proverb Susan LOL. Sheer luck on the colouring.. or determination to improve on what was there.

  4. A win/win – paint your apple and eat it too.

    • The apple was very sweet.
