A Sketch a Day – Days 9 – 12

PerspectiveDay 9 -An exercise in perspective using a colour pencil.

Day 12.  Morning at the local lake.  Trees at  the cliff top.

  1. You certainly find something to sketch every day – in or out of the house.

    • It is surprising how much more I notice things around the house or further afield, now.

  2. Perspective – something I absolutely could never master, hence the reason I don’t draw. Straight lines even drawn with a ruler totally elude me too. I admire your sketches and look forward to seeing lots more.

    • I’m working hard on the perspective Mary Anne, it’s not easy

  3. Lovely job on the perspective. That’s something I think is difficult for most people. That Day 11 piece is quite taking. I didn’t think they were people walking on water. I thought they were people wading in the shallows. =) The vase shows your daughter inherited your artistic talents.

    • That daughter taught me, not the other way round.
