A sketch a day – day 6

A pencil sketch of the view from our side window.  First time I’ve tried something like this. The pencil used was Faber Castell No 60.

I could have erased some lines in the curtain and timber wall before posting but it’s done now.  I won’t be taking up any architectural designing in the near future.   grin..if you wish to encourage me, just say ‘You’ll do better tomorrow.’

  1. No, I will say you will do even better tomorrow. It is so ok!

    • Thanks friend.

  2. I could say that, but I’d rather say this is a great picture! I can really see the details and it looks like a wonderful window!

    • Thank you Susan 🙂

  3. Well I think you did pretty darned well today, but every day you practice you will get better (or so the infamous ‘they’ tell us!).

    • MA I have to say the practise seems to be helping me.
