  2. What a lot of time consuming stitching. Very impressive.
    I agree with Barbara, the colours are fantastic.
    The temari are so unique with your beautiful birds and Kiko’s Flower stitches.
    The flower button is unique too; there are absolutely NO buttons on a kimono.

  3. Thanks to Sharon’s Kiko’s flower lessons at http://pintangle.com/stitch-dictionary/ I had plenty of practise. From this point they were passed to the girls to complete.
    I have actually taken apart a kimono and while we understand buttons are not on kimonos we tend to bend rules and added them for decoration. LOL
