TAST 2014 Eastern Stitch

Interesting stitch this one.  A little more fiddly than Sorbello at first.  It went better with the bead to hold the threads in place.  I would use this in further CQ projects.  I really like Sharon’s good suggestion of using a size 26 tapestry needle for the beading…it works.

  1. Great work! I checked the close-up picture and your placement of the stitches creates such nice patterns.

    • Thank you Queenie. Close up view? Better to stand back. LOL.
      I’ve a sneaky feeling some of those stitches were twisted the wrong way.
