TAST2 Week 37 – Kiko’s Flower stitch

Thanks to Kiko and Sharon for this lovely stitch.

I used crochet thread for the flowers in the heart and added a Turkman stitch border each side in knitted metallic floss.

The large flower was done with hand-dyed rayon thread and cotton similar to aBroder.

The top red flower in 4/5 ply wool with verrrry fine Stef Francis thread leaves.

The next is another knitted metallic floss and a dream to stitch through fabric.

There are close-ups of  these flowers on my Flickr site here

The last is in Edmar Lola with fine wool leaves.

I played with DMC threads for these leaves.  I tried to keep the chains separate but did not manage.
