TAST2 Week 36 Turkman stitch

The stitch is easy, quick and good to look at.

I’ve used threads given to me.

The pink is similar to perle 8 with Couched wool below and Palestrina stitches above the band.  Fly and French knots finish off the seam.

On the right is a gold soft thread sample of the Turkman stitch.  This thread sat nicely while stitching.

I did a zig-zag with the stitch, on Aida.  I like the way it looks and will use it in CQ work.  The thread is the same as the one above…the camera lies.

When this last sample is upright it could be seaweed or part of a shrub.
