Southern Cross Crazies RR

I  have completed my block in a Round Robin with the SCC- an Australian/New Zealand group.

Five ladies work on one block each and return them to me with the 6th block still unworked.  This was mine.

Sometimes, depending on the fabrics used in our set of blocks, the choice can be hard, so we send all 6 blocks so the last person still has a choice.

Here are the finished

blocks.   Hmmm…. I can’t separate the pictures but if you hover on each block the girl’s name will appear.

  1. They are all beautiful Maureen. I really must do some more crazy patchwork soon, I love to do this type of patchwork as it is not precision work – I like to work free style.

  2. These are all so beautifully done. I love the soft colours and the variety of wonderful seam stitches and embellishments. This is going to be a wonderful quilt.

  3. Your block is just lovely Maureen. I have been looking at yhour work and you do the most fantastic things. Where do you get the time?
    Joy……

  4. This is a lovely, lovely set Maureen! Now to set them together or will it become a book 😉 ?

    • Ati I now have many cream blocks and when I find time I will have to see if I can put together enough to make a quilt.
A problem with this is…do I keep the blocks in the sets or mix them up?

It will be a pleasurable playtime.

  5. All locks are wonderful work.

  7. WOW these blocks are all so lovely! So soft and beautifully stitched.

Now I’d like to know how you got the name to hover over the block???

  8. Wow, absolutely incredible. This is what I aspire to.
