SWAP BLOCKS

In May I posted two blocks I had made for a Swap in the CQAW group. They were for Hideko and Emiko and now I am showing off the two beautiful blocks I received in return.

The first is from Hideko. I am more than happy to own her delicately embroidered one. See for yourself her beautiful work.

The one below is almost totally beaded and made by Emiko.

I have these photos posted in my http://flickr.com/photos/crazyqstitcher/ with Notes for closer viewing

  1. Both blocks are beautiful Maureen! I can imagine you are happy with them.
By the way , is the photo on the top the area where you live??

  2. You very lucky lady! What gorgeous blocks! Aren’t the Japanese great at subtly beautiful work?

  3. Ati the top picture is a Header from WordPress. It is very ordinary in my area, no rolling downs to the shore.

I am fortunate Elizabeth and agree my friends are experts at their work.

  4. Maureen, I have to go wipe the drool off my keyboard …… what exquisite blocks to treasure!

  5. Norma even though I now own both these blocks, they are are well away from my drooling because the tendency is worse when I hold them.
