TAST WEEKS 40 Linked Double Chain and 41 Lace Border Stitch

copy-of-pa120129.JPG

I couldn’t manage a neat stitch with this one, except when I used a thick tapestry wool. I experimented with the Magic chain – yellow and brown – but it would only work if I kept the single twisted chain in the yellow.

It took ages to work this stitch even though the movements were easy.  I used more tapestry wool and tried for a curve and ended with a duck, so I added reeds in green Cebelia .  grin.. it all comes undone very easily.  Ask me how I know.
