TAST Week 37 Double Cross Stitch

For the  top left block of 4, I overlaid laid the bars in pairs.  On the top right I alternated the bars doing the vertical/horizontal, then the diagonal.  This made my work sit more neatly.

Bottom left has DMC metallic 6 strands in small crosses and one single cross stitch. They are a bit too thick.   Below them I used 3 strands

The bottom right I alternated the bars, doing short diagonal bars, then keeping the bars without a space.

Lastly the horizontal/vertical short bars  alternately laid, then close together

I still have bother with the camera, sorry.  I know it is me at fault.  I upload and choose the Full Size. Is it better to choose Thumbnail?  Any help is welcome here.

I hope they are clear enough to see.  I think the top blue stitch in the diamond is clear and that is what is used for the whole pattern.  I used Perle cotton for the stitches.

  1. I’m having trouble with uploading photographs, too, Maureen, so I’m no help. But these pictures are quite clear and large enough to see the details. I really like your experiments.
